Krugersdorp signal box

Krugersdorp is a major junction and station on the main line west of Johannesburg. The secondary line to Magaliesburg and Mafikeng branches off from the main line to Potchefstroom, Kimberley and Cape Town. This picture shows the panel which was presumably part of an earlier miniature lever frame, and is now at the George railway museum.

The frame shown there is that which was located on the Central line and the siding was located between Holborn and Tottenham Court Road on the site of the closed British Museum station
