Tooting Broadway - London Transport
Tooting Broadway signal cabin on the south end of the Northern Line was was opened in 1926. It was fitted with a Westinghouse Style 'B' style miniature power lever frame of 15 levers numbered 148. It was operational until 29th August 1959 when it operation was taken over by a an Interlocking Machine Room with a 12 lever 'V' style frame.

Owen writes ' Tooting Broadway Signalbox 1955, I finally dug out this shot of Tooting Broadway signal box. Not the most sanitary place to work, but it was a job. Mitchell Gears was a signalman here when I took this.
