content heder for Shoreditch
Shoreditch signal box was fitted with a new frame in 1913 when the East London Line was re-signalled by the Metropolitan Railway. It was closed on 19/05/1928 when Shoreditch station was controlled from a separate frame installed in Whitechapel signal box (East London Line signal box).

In 1943 a new interlocking machine room {IMR} was built at Shoreditch station controlled from Whitechapel signal box (East London Line signal box).
picture here if and when one becomes availiable.
The IMR opened (possibly on 08/09/1943) fitted with a 15 lever Westinghouse N frame. It was controlled from Whitechapel signal box until 18/10/1959 when control of the IMR was transferred to a push-button panel in Whitechapel signal box (District Line signal box).

Control of the whole of the East London Line, including Shoreditch IMR, passed to New Cross Signal Control Facility on 23/05/1998 but I do not know how the IMR is controlled.
