Armwell Junction signal box

The East Herts Miniature Railway Society Ltd at the Van Hage Garden Centre near Ware, Hertfordshire have a ground level railway which has its own signal box called Amwell Junction, this is fitted with a Style 'B' Westinghouse lever frame. This frame originated from London Transport Hyde Park Corner station signal box. I am grateful to the members at the East Herts Miniature Railway Society Ltd for permission to reproduce the following photographs. The frame is a Westinghouse Style 'K' Power Frame which is mechanically and electrically locked. The frame was formed of 2 x 12 way sections which making a total of {2x12}-1 = 23 levers, as the last “lever” space is unavailable.
