Aldgate East was fitted with a 15 lever 'B' Style frame (frame number 61) by the Metropolitan Railway in 1906. The box was closed on 06 October 1928 and the frame was moved to the replacement signal box.

Aldgate East was opened by the Metropolitan Railway on 7th October 1928 fitted with a 15 lever frame (frame number 61, which was moved from previous signal box). The box was closed on 18 May 1946.
