Westinghouse miniature power lever frame - Newbury Park [LT] signal box

Newbury Park signal box was built by London Transport and the frame was installed in 1939-40 but the re-signalling scheme postponed for duration of the Second World War. It was built to the London Transport Type design and opened in 10th December 1947 fitted with a 59 lever Westinghouse 'N' frame (frame number 200).

The frame was replaced by a panel 26th September 1994

The 'N' Style lever frame at Newberry Park is a Westinghouse Style 'N' Power Frame and was mechanically interlocked between levers with electrical lever locking, The frame was formed of 5 x 12 way section which making a total of 59 levers, {5x12}-1 = 59 levers, as the last “lever” space is unavailable. 22 levers levers worked the point, and 24 levers worked the signals with 8 other levers being provided.
