| Above is depicted a typical demonstration Style 'L' miniature lever frame as supplied by Westinghouse Brake and signal Co Ltd., It has not been possible to obtain a picture of the Longmoor lever frame, I have included a picture from John Francis book showing lever frame 40 constructed in 1929 with its wooden oiled teak casing . This shows spaces in lever position 7 & 8 as well as position 12, the 3 levers showing are numbers 9, 10 & 11. In front of the levers are the 'lead plates' Lever 9 operates the points, with its N & R indicator behind the lever.
