Liverpool Street signal box was located in the station building. It was opened by London Transport in 1937 and was fitted with a 23 lever Westinghouse 'B' frame which was moved from ?, and was replaced by a panel installed on 08-9/03/1997. This lever frame is now preserved at Bolton Abbey signalbox and is located on the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway

Liverpool street underground signal box

Former signal box on the subsurface lines at Liverpool Street Underground station. The lever frame is now relocated at the Embassy & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway at Bolton Abbey signal box, which in turn was the ex-Guiseley signalbox. Pictured above in 2007 is the ex Liverpool Street Lever frame which has been re-assembled in roughly the configuration it will retain for its new operation, although there may be further changes as the scheme progresses.
